We mourn the loss of our esteemed colleague Carmelo López, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. A quote from Carmelo: “I am interested in the magical moment between stability and instability (…)”
He was a member of the Glass Artists Association NRW for 24 years and enriched us and the art world with his works. His artistic theme was the human figure in motion, a snapshot in the here and now, captured in glass. In the here and now, we miss him as a person and friend. For us, the consolation remains that we can remember him through his wonderful works.
