Her work focuses on glass in dialogue with light, space, and projection. Objects are created at the glass furnace between art, design, and craft—characterized by refined proportions, tactile sensuality, and the interplay of transparency and reflection.
Selina Amelie Weber (born 1991 in Eggenfelden, Bavaria) has dedicated herself to the material of glass in all its facets since her training at the Glasfachschule Zwiesel. After studying ceramic and glass design at Burg Giebichenstein and free art glass at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences (M.F.A. 2024), she worked as a lighting designer at Ulrike Brandi Licht in Hamburg. Since 2024, she has been working as a practical glass designer at the LWL Industrial Museum Glashütte Gernheim.
