Helga Feuser-Strasdas

For me, the fascination of glass as a material lies in its transparency and the work with colored light. Depending on the incidence of light or the illumination, the object or image changes its appearance. My glass designs are inspired by studies of nature, natural forms, and structures. Building on intentional chance and precise further development, a play of colors emerges—abstracted natural forms on and with glass, implemented using various glass-making techniques depending on the desired effect.

I have been working as a master glass painter in my own studio in Rheinbach for over 40 years. My work is characterized by the interplay of craftsmanship and artistic creation.
