My glass is sometimes beautiful and glossy; but it also wants to say something, to touch.
These can be cheerful themes: The Dancers (sand casting) or sensual works such as the Cocoons (wound glass thread), insights and vase objects (mouth-blown), bowl objects (pâte de verre) – but also political ones: Tears of the Rainforest (fusing), Refugees (recycled glass), Atom (sand casting). This diversity of techniques, the joy of experimenting with materials, and the wide range of themes characterise my artistic path.
