Working with glass is fascinating. The warm color of molten glass inspires me; after an initial foray into the world of glass over 40 years ago, I have now been working exclusively with glass for 14 years. The spatial depth of the glass works, the colors that change with the light, and the technical requirements, as well as the possibilities when working with glass, inspire me time and again. New paths are always opening up. There seem to be no limits. I love to experiment and continue learning. In doing so, I use the transparency of the glass to look through the window of my own security at wars, hardships, and injustices in the world, but also to see the beauty in what is often taken for granted.
