Through our art, we encounter people in places far removed from museums, galleries, and other exhibition spaces. We set out for quarries, river meadows, volcanoes, and gardens—to spaces and sites both urban and rural, private and public. There, we use artistic means to create, transform, and preserve our culturally shaped environment, which may meet, contradict, or question the expectations and conditions of the individual and society—sometimes temporarily, sometimes visionarily, sometimes virtually, but always with the highest standards.
