As a visual artist, I create works of transformation. Some of my works depict plants that transform into drawings through my creative process. I also use existing materials for my work. This results in works and, simultaneously, free spaces.
After a creative artistic break, I have focused on an increasingly important aspect of my work – the connection to nature.
The flood of news with its diverse and ever-accelerating information throws our society out of balance, and our connection to nature is lost. We suppress issues that push us out of our comfortably established way of life and postpone many things until later. “It’ll be fine.”
With my glass hammock, which only seemingly supports (Title: “Let’s make ourselves comfortable…”), I will continue my work from 2025 with a stronger focus on current times and their societal challenges.
