Angelika Pietsch

Since the beginning of her artistic practice, the theme of “the human being and their interactions” has been at the centre of her work. The graduate object designer and freelance artist Angelika Pietsch works with a variety of materials, creating spatial installations and sculptures for indoor and outdoor settings.

Her current artistic focus is on the solid material glass. Here, her protagonists—acting individually or in groups—seem to merge in glass for eternity. Transparency and permanence lend these works character traits that are important to the artist.
